After being with the company for less than a year Nick Wooster has decided to leave JCPenney. It has been very clear that JCP has had customer loss over the years, Wooster was brought in to change that. He recently shared his beliefs with the company, of how to gain those clients back. “I’m going to get in trouble for saying this, but [we need to] make cute shit,” said Wooster. “If we have compelling product, people will come into the store. I firmly believe that’s the job of merchants. Am I done yet?” JCP showed some improvements after a collab with Joe Fresh but Nick will not be sticking around. Not sure where he is headed but, at least we know how he feels.
