Nike+ Fuel Lab in San Francisco
11 AprThe Nike+ FuelBand is an activity tracker that is worn on the wrist and is to be used with an Apple iPhone or iPad device. As part of the Quantified Self movement, the FuelBand allows its wearers to track their physical activity, steps taken daily, and amount of calories burned. Nike has launched the brand new Nike+ San Francisco-based development laboratory in hopes of creating a universal standard for activity tracking across platforms. Soon, NikeFuel will be integrated into products from MyFitnessPal, RunKeeper, and Strava while the Lab will also continue to develop the Swoosh’s Nike+ Running, Nike+ Training Club, and Nike+ Move iOS apps.
