Paris Fashion Week 2013 has begun, take a brief look at a few designer that have shown in the past few days. From business casual to street style, these designers clearly got their inspirations far and wide.
Grammy winner Chris Brown finally released his new single titled ‘Don’t Think They Know featuring R&B angel Aaliyah. Filmed in Compton with the opening scene inspired by the classic film Boyz n the Hood. With mostly black and white treatment throughout the video, colors are included to highlight gang affiliations. In the final scenes of the video are colors are untied.
His forth album, X, is set to be released on July 16.

During a new Samsung commercial, which played during last night’s NBA Finals Game 5 (Miami Heat vs. San Antonio Spurs) Jay-Z, reveals a new album titled Magna Carta Holy Grail will arrive on July 4. The video features extraordinary minds including Timbaland, Pharrell, Swizz Beatz, and Rick Rubin. Although the video is just a teaser, it gives us something to look forward to.
The first million fans with a Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy S4, or Galaxy Note 2 to download the app on Google Play June 24th will receive the album for free on Independance Day, 72 hours before the public.

MCM teamed up with Craig Redman (New York) and Karl Maier (London), artist who specialize in illustration and installation. The ‘Eyes on the Horizon’ collection features art based on modern popular culture and the mass media, on the signature MCM print. From the classic back-packs to wallets, each exemplifies a conversation piece.
Allegedly the good folks Casio want to take the guess work out of your evening for your safety and the safety of others. They’ve teamed up with Cîroc to a make limited edition range of “vodka flavor”-inspired G-Shock watches that have a built in Breathalyzer.

In it’s final season mastermind Japan has teamed up with adidas Originals to create a footwear and apparel collection. The sneakers include the adidas Originals Library Hi and ZX 500 (not pictured), Gazelle, CTRY, Pro Model in black/white colorways. Each pair is featured with the iconic mastermind JAPAN skull and bones branding. The apparel includes a matching tracksuit and leather bomber jacket, also in black and white. Take a look!
Paris based designer Rick Owens has collaborated with Adidas to create four styles of running shoes for women and six for men. According to WWD, Owens is a dedicated gym buff but he despises cardio. All in an effort to motivate a running habit.
Images for the collection will be released during the Spring/Summer show in Paris on June 27. This should be a interesting collab. We will see in due time.
If you take a look at the season prior, Givenchy has dominated the T-shirt scene with robust graphics and Rottweiler combination. For F/W 2013 the Doberman is ahead of the pack. Filled with a cryptic canvas and bold hues, the collection will still be sought after.
